anyone know a good and reasonably priced tailor that can taper selvage denim?

Studio Kim on King St has alot of great reviews, gonna head there myself to get my dukes slimmed down.

Anyone know where zippers such as riri or YKK can be purchased retail &locally?

cartel doesn't exist anymore i'm pretty sure. hadn't heard of it previously, but was in a new shop that i think's replacing it, same owner i think, cool guy, ranted a lot. vintage streetwear stuff, some nice vintage polo, new streetwear tees and stuff. forget what it's called, just opened a couple weeks ago. had a sick polo hunting jacket, i bought a reindeer sweater, lol

May I suggest an edit of the sydneys to reflect the collections that are still/most heavily carried?

Viridi Anne, Rick Owens, DRKSHDW, MA+, Augusta, Dries Van Noten.

Chatav and Damir are both cut, those brands listed above are the largest buys for sufu brands.

I always hear a recommendation for Holts, but I have called bloor and yorkdale and neither have Dior raw jeans (looking for the black in either 19cm or 21cm -- MII or MIJ) are there any other locations in Toronto that anyone knows to try?

I also heard a recommendation for Noir on bloor but the number is out of service.

[And sorry I'm sure there's a thread here about Toronto that I'd rather bump but search isn't working for me]

Hello,

I just moved to Toronto a week ago and I obviously do not well the city so far.

Do you guys have any tip regarding the city: area, stores (besides J+O & Nomad), bars, clubs, restaurants, etc?

Thanks!

Can anyone recommend some 'hip' consignment stores in Toronto that might carry stuff like of Dries Van Noten and Ann D? or anything, really.

going this weekend, I want to eat well, not necessarily expensive, but good where ever that may be. bonus points if someone knows of a good yakitori joint

the only acceptable place in toronto for bincho-tan yakitori (to my knowledge) is Izakaya Ju in richmond hill (Steeles & Victoria Park).

they have yakitori-don lunch special as well as yakitori chicken burger (along with a lot of other japanese izakaya options)

Hey guys,

I'm going to be in downtown TO for a few days later this week to do some shopping. I'm mainly looking for W+H, Acne, CPs, Nudie jeans, any ideas who would have decent stock and maybe some good boxing week sales? I'll have a vehicle so I can get around if there's a store worth the drive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
