denime 66?

i'm looking for some info on the denime lowrise 66 model. from my reSEARCH i've concluded that they are probably raw and that they shrink to tag size...basically I'm looking for verification on this, and in addition, i would like to know how people like them. How's the quality of the denim, fit, etc? Looks pretty nice on bears but I know there are some people here that have them, and these are likely to be my next purchase. I just want to make sure they're what I want. Thanks in advance

Some of the bears one come in either one wash or raw.

I think the 66 model is what a lot of the slimmer lower rise repros are based on. I don't have a pair of Denime's personally. But I remember someone on here who did and they said it was slimmer and low rise.

Super Rag has one model in one wash, and they do ship outside Japan.

any word on whether they live up to bears' measurements? i assume, raw or one-wash, those are post-wash measurements...correct?

Size-wise, it looks very comparable to, say, Bears' Tora, but with even lower rise:

66 Lowrise: W30: waist 75cm, rise 23.5cm, length 90cm, thigh 26cm, leg 20cm

Tora: W30: waist 74cm, rise 25cm, length 83cm, thigh 25.5cm, leg 19cm

I've been looking at Denime's 66s, too. They cost ¥10,000 less than their XX models. And I've also heard that their XXs take forever to break in and get good fadings. Cost performance seems to be great on 66s. You just don't get things like hidden rivets.

denime 66 i think bought off coldrice a long fucking time ago now...multiple washes...contrast is less whiskered..but i wanted it that way..I think i sized up to 31 so its not as tight (actually both 66 models i own, these and samauri are not too tight)...

Haven't seen them sold raw anywhere yet... but I have a pair of 66 lowrise, one-wash in a size 31. They were pretty tight when I first got them, which means they were tagged size. I like them a lot, though if I had to do it over again, I would get the regular rise. The real problem with them is that I got a pair of SD-003 2 weeks later and have been wearing those since March.

To be honest with you, I think the fit of Denimes is far superior to all other slim jeans I have, but the SD-003's seem a lot more interesting to me right now and are looser... which is kind of what I want for the summer.

well i just bought them today from coldrice. so we'll see. i got them in a size 30, which is the size i normally get in jeans...it's always a tad tight but i stretch them. I've got little runner legs, so it usually works out best that way. I'm very excited about them. I just got some samurai s5000vx from him as well, which I love, but are a bit looser than I expected. I'm glad to have them though, because it lets me change my look a bit here and there. I'm sure I'll love the Denimes. I'll be sure to post pics when I get them.
