Levi 511 Skinny Commuter Jeans

Has anyone tried these yet?

Apparently they're made with " water-repellent NanoSphere® nanotechnology and antimicrobial Sanitized® technology" So they're water proof and always clean?

They look very nice in my opinion and its pretty fucking cheap compared to some jeans. What's your opinion? For $80 is it worth it?

ehhhh... for $80 I'd rather get some 501 STFs or some unbrandeds or something.

they aren't bad for the price. I own them in black 3/4 length, but I don't get too many chances to wear black capris.

they have nanosphere, but to be clear they are not waterproof like arc teryx/outlier nanosphere. they can handle spills but will wet out quick as fuck in real rain.

still they are nice, and come with plenty of whistles and bells for the relatively low price.

I saw them at my local Urbanoutfitters. No, it's not selvedge. It's waterproof. It's really stretchy too. I would personally go for other jeans.

i've been wearing some on and off for about 6 weeks, lots of indigo transfer but can't see any sign of any fades, whiskers, combs etc

time will tell i guess

These look pretty fresh. Been looking for a pair of jeans that i can wear when it's raining to save my selvage. 511's not a bad cut either. Does anyone know where you can get some in Canada, online or in stores?
