Doesn't hip flare become a non issue once jeans settle and are broken in? Logically, it would seem that hip flare is a function of new, stiff jeans only.

I think they are - it's called black shadow?

Went upstate NY today. Was pretty fun but - I didn't feel too great.. Not going to put too much words with my post this time since I should really be studying, and need to get back to school work.

After 2 hours in the car this is where we finally stopped. Take not of that mountain. Anyways, we stopped to get food (didn't feel like bringing my camera).

But continued..

..we went hiking (washburn trail).

Here is all the images from on the way up.

We just finished walking up part of the 'easy' part of the mountain. Now comes the hard part. It was like a 65 degree vertical slope.

...I thought I took more pictures to show what it was like. Anyways here's me, out of shape, feeling like shit, sweaty and tired. Me.

This is how high up we were in addition to the fact that that is a flat part up on a mountain. Meaning the easy trail led to down there, and the hard trail led to where I am taking the photo. If that makes sense. It was probably about a 200 ft drop off as well.

Even the dogs were tired.

We continued going up, and this is what it looked like - it eventually became much steeper.

Even higher up.

Apple picking!

someone said I look like a corpse in this picture, but truly, I'm not.

Anyways on the way back..

Saw a sweet sunset and I managed to get another pano as well. If you really care, yes it does kind of go upwards on the left, but I have no clue how to fix that. It is also a bit blurry, and yatta yatta..

The BKs are definitely DS (unless one pops up in the supermarket). But I am curious as to seeing the black shadows as well. I don't think I will be picking them up though - trying to spend more money on camera equipment than jeans.

thank you for the compliment though man! I love the way they fit as well! Although... they will never work with my vans :(, only my boots.

lax- it looks like u spend quality time with the fam, which is really cool for a kid your age. keep your nose outta trouble. something i didn't do when i was your age.

Well... I spend time - maybe not quality though haha! I just tag along to take pictures otherwise I would be at home with nothing to do or with friends and being bored as shit. I try to stay out of trouble - I tend to overthink situations a lot so I worry mostly about the consequences (for better or for worse).

hey laxlife, what lens do you use for your pictures?

specifically that apple one that looks like twilight hah

Haha! Supposedly you're not the only one that thinks that, ironically I didn't even think of twilight until someone pointed it out.

Well, the pictures taken at the orchard were not with my good lens. It was just the kit one - Canon 18-55 f/3.5-5.6IS II. The lens is very good, but not the best however, I did a lot of editing to it to look like that. Well a decent amount I took 3 exposures and tonemapped it - twice.

Otherwise all the other pictures were taken with the 50mm 1.2L. I just wish I had a wider lens for those shots, the 50 is tight on a crop body.

Just an update... wear time is (?).

Wish the cut was slimmer, but I love these to death. I am going to guess the wear time is ~3-4 weeks (or a month). The BEST way to represent the color is to say they are purple. They are brown/indigo weft/warp which in turn makes them purpilish. At a distance they somewhat look like the first picture, but up close they look exactly like they do in the third picture.

5'6", but thanks shinobi! I mean if I am to get them tapered it is going to be very slight, I still want the loose cut, but enough to reduce the hip flare and make them look like the 29's. The hoodie is actually a rain coat though, bit small on me now should have went with a M :(
