yes they exist, but only in Japan as far as I know.

They will be very expensive unfortunately, if you are used to buying 'normal' jeans from the US brands.

be abit more specific about what you are looking for in terms of colour, fit etc and Im sure some people will be able to throw a few suggestions about Jap. brands that make 40W.

I feel for you because I have the almost same problem trying to find real 36 length, but maybe you could go down a waist size and open a lot more doors for yourself?

ya. companies usually dont make that big of a size, because most of thier customers arent that big. the best i can suggest is bespoke denim at 45rpm. it will cost ALOT, but rest assured that your getting the absolute best.

wow those are banner jeans like size 60 ..

If they made them in regular sizes I would cop a pair though ..

They should just send me a freaking pair in my size and I'll be an 8 month WALKING BANNER ..

I'd say PRPS is probably exactly what you're looking for. Really nice quality denim, interesting washes, and according to this website... available in up to size 42.

Evisu is also a potential option. Like PRPS, they are popular with the urban crowd, so I'd be really suprised if they didn't have the size you're after. In fact, I went to my local mall and they didn't even stock Evisu in sizes smaller than 36 -_-

Also, as red mentioned, 45RPM has up to size 40 on their website, but 40 one wash measures a 38, if thats a problem.

45RPM's "bespoke" denim isn't actually "bespoke" at all. It's just customized distressing.

Same with Earnest Sewn's supposed "bespoke" program.

I think you can choose your hardware too...still doesn't justify the customized cost.

45rpm ought to do something like that or at least someone ought to. you go in and get a pair of jeans that you pick everything. weight of denim, placement of back pockets, length of rise, leg opening, etc. completely bespoke. god, that would be amazing. anyone want to point me in the direction of where i might be able make my dream a reality?

I really think you should lose weight and at least go down to a 36 if you genuinely want to get into premium denim. Then you can choose any brand!

It is not an unchangeable body factor like being short or tall, or a teenager who is a 26 waist and is yet to fill out properly, and cant find jeans.

I hope that didnt come across rude, but really, you are answering your own question.

I like being tall, but at the same time, since learning more about denim, I wish I could 'lose weight' off my height and become a 34 instead of a 36!!

You have the option to do this.
