Man, these are some stinky jeans! Some of them haven't been washed in 3 years! the jeans inbetween the John Varvatos and the LVC heyday are actually Denime '66 jeans.

How do the 1947 Levis repros fit? I was thinking of buyig a pair but they are quite expensive and don't want to drop the money on em if it's not a good fit.

well, they are a little baggy, but not too much so. I like them, I have 3 pairs. the pre-distressed ones fit better

the Deadstock ones are like Diesel Kratt jeans after they shrink. I wish the indigo was a little better though.

it seems to leach out without leaving some really dark grainy parts behind.

Try the 1967 505 0217 repro, those are slim and preshrunk.
