Hisory Preservation? Sugar Canes

Firstly, does History Preservation have an email address? (find that a bit annoying that in 2006 someone with a website won't let you email them...)

Secondly, it says somewhere on its site, regarding Sugar Canes, "if demand warrants larger sizes can be produced".

I would pay extra for a longer leg.

Do you think this would be possible?

P.s. I am in England so calling New Jersey store is not really practical.

They've got no email address for ordering. You've got to call them or send your order by fax. It's a part of their marketing strategy as silly as it seems.

Well actually I finally figured out how to send a fax through my modem!

The only thing is, I didnt realsie with Faxes, they are not stored on the line (like an email).

This means, if they even bothered to fax me back, I probably never received it because my PC was switched off!!

Well, he's hoping that since Hist Pres have some weird relationship with Sugarcane that he can have a longer length specially produced... so I don't think a Japanese order would help him.

I would.

But the whole point of my post is that somewhere on history's site, it says "if demand warrants, larger sizes can be produced".

I wanted to ask if they could do me an extra long length, obviosuly with me paying additional costs.

Unless cold rice is able to march into the Sugar Cane factory in Osaka and demand that the old lady sewing jeans make me an extra long leg, I doubt he will be much help in this instance.

Possibly yeah, but its not really fair to ask xcoldricex to do all that running round to potentially be told 'No' again and again, and without me paying him a penny in the end cos he cant get what Im after!!

Hopefully I will manage to make contact with HP at some point soon. It is not urgent that I have some SCs, but reading so many good things about them, has made me want a pair

I called HP and asked them if they would get me a longer length and they said no.

I think they might have meant that SugarCane could start producing longer lengths for US sales if they got a ton of requests, eventually. I am assuming that guys in the US are taller than Japan, on the average, so if they expand out to the US they might produce a longer length. Does that seem like it makes sense? I don't think too many people in Japan need an inseam longer than 34. I am totally going by stereotypes but I think I am right.

actually there are plenty of tall guys here. i just don't think they are into denim. haha.

i could ask the store to take the scraps of the jeans they hemmed and have them add it on to the ends of the sugar cane jeans you want.

Fortunately, HP have since contacted me now and told me to get lost. (Well not exactly)

Actually, he was quite friendly, but basically he said: no chance. He said Buzz Rickson's might be more suitable.

Funny you should mention about the Japanese height thing. I am tall (6-4) and there was a guy at my university who was Japanese who was the same height as me, and I always wondered how he got clothes 'at home'. I also watched a programme about a particular Japanese "tribe" that are very tall, and have "western body hair types" (like hairy chests and strong beards etc).

So now you know!

Anyway, back on topic - yo Cold Rice - your last point - would that be possible???? !!!

I dont care if there is a small seam at the cuff as long as I can get my SCs!!! Yay!!
