This is a pair of 501that i washed by myself from last year

It was orignially TOTALLY BRAND NEW n RIGIDLY UNWAHED, n by then I started to like LVC but didnt want to wear the same pair of jeans with others (n i dun like to wear 2nd-hand neither...) .......so....

I started to cusomize my 501!

i combined the washed patterns of various 501 lvc and also hysteric glamour jeans

the dark area on the right front pocket is to imitate one of the signature series of HG with that painted by a gloved soaked with charcoal oil paint

note that the wash pattern of the jeans are totally selfmade within 2 hours.... aha, yea i actually wore the jeans n started to rub them with bleach.....

the damages were the most difficult part to do, it took my about a week to complete them, with the part of the lining removed

it took me about 3 weeks to complete the process.... on and off

Used bleach, a lots of paints, spray cans, cutters, sharpeners, a whole lot of tools... most importantly the volcanic stone

Now that i have worn my jeans for almost a year, the naturally emerging wash pattern blend with the one i made.... aging is always gudddddd

** it wasnt quite difficult but time consuming... n it takes quite alot of skills 2...

looks like it would be fun to do to piar of cheap jeans, but not lvc. it also looks very fake. personally, id like to see more whiskers and honeycombs to make it look more realistic.

if youre happy with them, thats all that really matters. wear them with pride.

If you've lost your faith in superfuture, Oh the end won't be long

Because if it's gone for you then I too may lose it, And that would be wrong

I've tried so hard to keep myself from falling

Back into my bad old ways

And it chars my heart to always hear you calling

Calling for the good old days

Because there were no good old days

These are the good old days

The wash looks pretty good. I would defininitely say better than 90% of all washed stuff. I generally don't like predistressed stuff, though.

Nice. Not my style at all, but nice work nonetheless.

I'm currently beating up my SSDS, but I'm thinking a more subtle "wash"... I think they'll turn out pretty nice. I can see I need bleach, I just used sandpaper and even though I rubbed quite alot it's not going showing as much as I thought.

Was it just household bleach you used?

I've tried to do this previously on a pair of old jeans and they went a pinky/orange colour, then when I tried some more it knackered the denim so bad they were unwearable.

I was going to try again with Peroxide, but never had the guts!
