Note how that 42 replica has double selvage. The one on eBay right now has single, which suprised me as I haven't seen that before 50s jeans. But Lee seem to be far less standardised than Levi's AFAIK.

Wowsers - they're killer! The Lee Japan denim seems to lose very little indigo both in wear and in the wash so I wonder how long it'll take for my pairs to look like that. Probably 10 years lol. Thanks for sharing and ps read your book a week ago - a great read!
