cold soak after two weeks

accidently dropped nudies in the wash, but grabbed them before the spin cycle - essentially a cold soak, i guess - will that ruin the jeans?

yes. they will lose the sheen and some stiffness.

so they went through the entire wash cycle, minus the spin?

if so, i'd say, yes, the appearance will probably change. and you will have lost some indigo, esp if you used a detergent.

a cold soak in plain water by itself won't really change dry denim -- it's the agitation that does it, and it sounds like you got some agitation.

that said, who cares? your jeans probably still look great, and they'll continue to break in over time. don't stress.
