question about washing acne jeans hex

I have been wearing these for about a month, and I think I need to wash them. they fit perfectly, so I don't want them to shrink. is it safe to wash these inside-out in cold water? I should only air dry them, right? I don't really know much about denim obviously. thanks a lot.

I actually washed mine a couple nights ago.

I hand washed them inside-out in cold water with minimal detergent and hung them to dry outside, still inside-out. Indigo was flowing freely from them when washing/rinsing, but in appearance they don't really look very faded at all.

I don't think they really shrunk much at all. I also wore them when they were still slightly damp which probably helped them to stretch out a bit.
