knee stretching

I searched a decent amount a while and came up with pretty much nothing, so I'll just ask...

Obviously i can shrink my knees back down to size from washing, but I'm only 3 weeks into my process (they're coming along quickly and nicely though) and I certainly don't want to wash these. Is there anything else I can do to make the knees not so damn bulbous? I mean they seriously look stupid...and by the way I'm wearing the APC new standard if that makes any difference. Aside from the knees, these fit absolutely perfect.

Try s team Iron on that bit and toss in the dryer, or spritz lightly with water in that areas and throw in the dryer.

I'd startch them first to make sure all your creases stay.

I have no idea if this'll work, just an idea

Don't you hate in when you're in a line and there's that guy like right behind you and you can feel him almost touching you, hovering near you, in your personal space and all you want to do is turn around and scream, "move three feet back before I beat you," but you don't? They'd put you in a strait jacket if you did, and it is soooo hard to find a pair of shoes that match those.

I've found that the knee buldge goes down in my jeans after a month or 2

Is that because the rest of the jean sort of stretches out with the bulge?

I am just going to deal with it...but it really is bulging a ton. It bulges so much that a dark crease has formed under the knee, where it folds over and lays on top of itself. The crease actually looks kind of cool, because is a deep, solid, sideways blue line but the fact that it looks like I'm wearing knee pads is not so cool.

I ended up soaking the knees only (didn't touch the back of the knees) with water and threw them in the dryer. No indigo was lost, but the creases in the front of the knee were not as apparent afterward, but it's been a day or 2 and they're essentially back to normal. I won't do it again.

I've had pairs of jeans start to take on the shape of English riding pants. The area from the knees up is all stretched out, but below the knees it still fits tight. And from a couple deep knee bends, you get that bulbous stretching there. But as the jeans continue to stretch and the denim begins to relax more and stack up properly at the bottom, the knee bulge will go away. Just keep wearing 'em.

This is exactly why people need to buy denim that is almost one or two sizes too small for you them to begin with: Because the part of your jeans around your waist, thighs, and knees will stretch so much. People just can't believe that what is so incredibly uncomfortable to begin with, actually fits perfectly within a weeks time.

The tighter the denim is when you purchase it, the less pronounced that is, in my opinion. And the knee bulge is just part of the experience. It has to happen. And the beautiful fades and ceases that happen around the knee are what you get in return!

I bought mine pretty small. I got 28s in the new standard. My actual waist size is about a 32. They fit me perfectly everywhere now that I'm three weeks into them, and I've got some decent whiskering forming, and my honeycombs are just beginning to lighten up at some of the creases. The only thing that isn't perfect is the knees. But you're right, I will have some crazy fading and creases around them once this is all done with. I've been wearing these pretty hard. It's getting hot here in Nashville, and I've been wasting some time outside longboarding down the hills and sweating a decent amount. Luckily I'm one of those people that don't get stinky when they get sweaty, but I'm sure this sort of activity will start wearing on them soon. I'll probably have a few "scars" on them as well...
