This might be unrelated but what is size are thom browne shirts if you wear a visvim medium? I got measurements for tb shirts but they are confusing when compared to visvim which im assuming is the difference in cut.

Sorry to bother with another sizing question; can anyone confirm these fit rather large, like, i'm a 10 in Virgils and Serra Ascent / 9.5 in FTB Elston so i should be a 9.5 in 7 hole?

Also, has anyone tried the whymper boots? having second thoughts about sizin as well....

Go for 9.5, 73' fits larger than Virgil for sure.

the 73 isnt so much longer than the virgil it is just quite a bit wider and taller,so if you fit a virgil for length in a 10 you prob safer to add insole or thick sock to 73 unless you have a little room at toes.

kind of considering the whympers but it occured to me that the boot construction is probably more along the line of moncler construction than visvim folk... in other words it'd probably be like pre-folk visvim. is there anything to support or contradict this hypothesis? sorry if this was covered before, i'm moving this weekend so too much stuff going on.

my bad, got them switched... still would appreciate an informed opinion whether the the matterhorns are essentially a non folk whymper. not that i have a problem with non folk visvim (still loving my serras) but would help guide any purchasing decisions
