Studying under Helmut Lang at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and working under Hedi Slimane at Dior Homme, Taralis’ own work is immediately modern, looking to the future and rejecting easy references to history and subculture. Heading toward 2010 and now presenting the third collection for his newly relaunched label, we spoke to Nicolas about the ethos behind his work.

Signature "Notched Lapel" Blazer made out of japanese heavy gabardine wool for the Fall Winter 2009 Collection. Matching Pants included, but altered to a inseam of 34" (original is 36")

Be aware that Taralis is making use of very slim Sleeves, so this is best for a size 44 in Dior Homme or small 46.

just curious... why would you want to trade an impeccably-cut and fabricated suit as that for any Rick Owens tailoring, which is notoriously ill-fitting and fused?

hm strange I have a blazer from Crust that is the best fitting blazer I ever had, the cut is perfect. Had two other Rick Owens blazers with buttons at the cuff and they were shit.

Besides the blazer is too formal for me, I try to stay away from my old dior wardrobe. This suit still beats any dior suit I ever had - so it had to stay till now.
