I've been lusting after cigars for a month now. I dont want to smoke ( like ten a day ) but every now and then I do want to enjoy smoking and the taste and ceremony. I've been looking to cigars as a way doing this. I just think a good single malt and a cigar would be nice every now and then. If there are any cigar aficionados out there who can advise a good one to start on for a UK smoker that'd be good.

i am not a cigar afficionado but i find just going into a cigar shop with an idea of what you are after is usually pretty fun; those dudes usually know what's up

i am just upfront about it; i don't want a cigar that'll take me two hours to smoke and nothing too intense; something friendly for a very occasional smoker; have them cut it for you

Yeah, back when you still were allowed to smoke in a place of business in Toronto, I used to go to the cigar shop with my friend and smoke a cigar and play chess or backgammon and chat with the fat cats who chilled there. I know nothing about them, however.
