  3. No, the leather isn’t under any more stress than it is on the main seams around the bag. It’s a fairly normal method to make a gusset.
  4. Today
  5. That’s aging great. Do you (either of you) worry about the ends of the darts being such points of stress, over time?
  6. Ugh. I really (really) love the 0105 cut and FC's denim. I've stealth bought it in a lot of variations. None of them will likely ever show good wear because of the loose fit and the amount of variations I have, but if there's anything I've gone down a rabbit hole with it's this specific cut of jeans, so this will be tough even though I find it ridiculous. That said, this price will be easy to turn down.
  7. Thank you so much! I mostly only rock black or OD denim now because work has me in a uniform and I got the Go ahead from my boss to wear black jeans and I’ve taken a liking on how they look in comparison to indigo stuff. I definitely wanna try to work on an overdyed pair now that I’ve faded double black and these sbgs.
  8. Wow awesome rare black fades seen here
  9. @srudy - that’s a beautiful sun tan … love it!

  15. The irony is that surely they were supposed to be cautious with materials during WW2 and yet these repros seem to be using twice as much thread as necessary 🤷‍♂️
  16. Full Count appear to be having their go at the WW2 trimmings style now https://fullcount.co/products/2024aw-pre-order-s0105-24-wwii-model-brown-cotton-denim-pants?variant=44817740988663 As I've still not grabbed a pair of 0105 I may well go for these later in the year!
  17. First time I'm posting pictures of my 8301 sbg's I got a couple of years back. Third wash on these. Two years of wear on these, I only see one spot on these where they need some repairs but these have held up really good. I've lost a considerable amount of weight since I got these so I might hang these up for awhile and get another cut, not sure what I want to get right now.

  25. Haha. Yeah I'm around 6'3" or probably really more like 6'4" if both my legs were the same length - my legs are a bit long for my body though since I have the same inseam as my 6'5" father-in-law. I have to wear a lot of jeans Hayashi-style regardless of choice (I need 32" to even hit mid-ankle), TCB being an exception
