They look great Broark. It seems to me that Ooe really do make wonderful jeans and I think this model is one of their best. This brand could be the one that got away for me...

Probably the nicest-faded ONE PIECE OF ROCK I've seen yet. Looks like the denim has some great texture to it.

Shoes that look better with age...

Hey, Got my RW repaired at our awesome cobbler in Montreal, Carinthia. I asked for soles that are not flat as the original ones. Great work from a dedicated man. Cheers

  10. I wash with Woolite Dark. I think Momotaro has their own detergent.
  11. I was wrong...it can be bottled...Lol After all, is anything “too good” for our denim”? Bottled air from the Swiss Alps: https://www.swissbreeze.com/product/

from my experience is best to store your jeans in the room with air-con. regular open the window. in case you store them in that room and they are in closed closet, open it twice per week when you are away and never more you would register musty smell, or moister....

    Trophy Clothing

A couple things I want to add: Minus the new extremely narrow collab with Brat Style, I feel Trophy denim fits pretty good on western wider bodies due to their fit and measurements as I now own both styles in the regular 1605bk and now the 1607 narrow fit. I saw @Megatron1505 have success with their brand in fitting. Their styles are obviously geared towards traditional workwear, yet fit pretty well. I haven’t tried their button down shirts yet, and I keep hearing on here that their T-shirt’s fit one size smaller. @JDelage, if you can’t find the 1605bk, you could always do the 1605 model. They’re both the same in fitting. Btw, the 1607 isn’t very hairy.

  19. @Broark Same here. ;-) I am fortunate enough to live in an arid climate where I can line dry outdoors. The fresh air and the UV from sunlight can’t be “bottled”.

One of my least favorite smells in the world is laundry detergent. So heavily scented that it almost gives me a headache. I'm all for fragrance free detergent.
  21. brainerd666

    Acronym.

Reverse seam and zip are the biggest froward facing design changes. I really dug the reverse seam and zip when I owned one. Gives it a very aggressive look when wearing. I’d still own it if I didn’t dislike wearing 3L so much.
  22. Use a fragrance free detergent such as that made for down products. Most detergents are designed to partially remain on clothing but Woolite and similar designed products leave no residuals. Followed by a rinse or two with just water and gentle agitation. The detergent molecules are attracted to water at one end and gentle agitation will break the bonds they have with the clothing and they will drain off with the water.
  23. Musty smell is the result of mildew and mold spores and moisture. If it smells musty then you have an issue that can be masked by fresheners and cedar but that will continue to exist until surfaces are wiped down with simple disinfectant or vinegar. Thats just science. Some of the issue can be that the jeans are not thoroughly dry at time of storage while lighter fabrics are. A simple test for detergent residue would be to place one pair of freshly washed jeans in a ziplock and see what they smell like stored somewhere else.

On that subject, what IS the best way to rinse out the soap?
