I ultimately talked myself out of a pair, just too similar to my Memorial Jeans at the end of the day. Plus I have a pair of R01’s with Test Lot details that I haven’t even soaked yet. So I’m just going to keep wearing my Memorial Jeans for awhile and try to get them broken in nicely.

Very interesting how much action this thread gets when a release is upcoming and how suddenly it goes dead after release day. Did anyone actually pick up a pair? Fit pics? General impressions? I know a lot of people will tuck a pair away while working a current pair but I'd still love to hear what everyone who did purchase thought and maybe see some pics. Thanks!

    Real McCoy's / Joe McCoy's Jeans

I noticed still a lot of shrink in the inseam even though they are sanforized. I used to stretch them back after a wash when still wet

  9. @JDelage, I got a 32 that I ‘grew out of’ then got a 33” that I have spent all day harvesting fire wood in with no mobility issues and I do heavy squats four days a week. They can live well in either the world of office casual or manual labor.

What are your jeans doing today?

Looking out my lake living room yesterday evening. Spring is here!
  12. I'm having the same thought recently and am interested in the orslow fatigues but again they're pricey. I like the UES baker pants as well. Any sateen baker pants really. Stan Ray do an affordable made in USA alternative. Edit: should have read to the bottom of the page...my contribution = UES!

    Conners Sewing Factory

It's a special model using a left hand twil denim. I'm not sure if it will be a regular model in his line-up or if it was some special release.

Anybody know a little more about the Vallejo model Konaka is offering lately? Saw a post on instagram showing them, the denim seems to be super slubby and all that.

    I WEAR JIKA–TABI [地下足袋]

Visvim Tabi Sashiko-Folk. Found a pair on Grailed a few years ago but haven't seen a pair since. Regret not pulling the trigger, guess I'll have to stick with my wypipo toe hiking shoes.

    WAYWT 2019 (denim edition)

@Pedro they are herringbone cotton fabric. Not as light as linen, but definitely not winter weight. Similar to other OG pants.
  21. Grease Point looks good, and they're local to me. The legs might be a tad narrow for me....

    Real McCoy's / Joe McCoy's Jeans

I went to Pronto in BKK yesterday and bought a Lot. 004 . I want to war it in the office (mostly suits around), so I was looking for something a bit "dressy". I am happy with what I bough. I tried to get some information and didn't find much and if so it was a bit of contradicting. So I am fishing for some background on this piece: It's a 901 imitation, correct? Pronto sales (girl) told me that its unsanforized but would not shrink much.My main concern are the tights, they fit now well but I wouldn't like them to shrink much. Probably have to soak the cold of use dry cleaning. Any information on the denim and were it is produced? N BTW, I also bought an N-1 in blue. I am totally happy with it. They had a Buzz Rickson's N-1 in the shop and the Real McCoy N-1 is a totally different quality (at a different price).
  25. Those are good pants. Wish they made them a bit wider leg to allow bending down without restriction. Anyone know a double-knee manufacturer that carries the double knee all the way to the beltline?

I’ve been wearing my Santa Cruz’ for the last three weeks and they are showing better than my Roy’s after three months! I’ll post some fit pics as soon as I get a free moment.
  27. If you’re cool with a double knee, I think Grease Points would fit the bill.
