  5. THE FINE CREEK SHINKI HORSEHIDE RYAN JACKET The Fine Creek RYAN jacket in Shinki horsehide is back! We’ve got a hot one this week from Fine Creek. The Ryan model is here and is made of what we believe to be the best horsehide in the world from Japan’s famed Shinki Hikaku tannery. This 1.3mm tea-core dyed horsehide feels and looks great when new and looks unbelievable when broken in. Fine Creek have created a completely new Shinki "recipe" for the Ryan model, we've never seen a Shinki horsehide which looks and feels like this. The Ryan jacket has three zippered outer pockets and is cotton flannel lined. These are available now in black or brown in limited numbers at all stores. 11. seconding everyone re flagship denim. tender's standard 17oz denim is very similar down to the blue selvedge line. and youll definitely get massive rises on them!

  14. On the same page as the lads before me with the flagship denim really sturdy denim, can develop lots of character as well. Re rise: Even the 102s I had could have had more rise front and back, gets worse with the stiff denim... the 202s are the same cut, but it's less noticeable, because of the lacking stiffness of the denim.
  15. I see the similarities to Denime XX but with a darker dye and tighter weave. I think the 101 would work well for you @beautiful_FrEaK.
  16. I really like their flagship denim. Has some similarities to Denime's XX denim. At least in the early stages. I also considered the 101 from time to time. I would probably really like the more medium rise.
  17. Their standard 15oz denim is my favourite denim. With FC a close second.
  18. Yeah, they feel incredibly sturdy and seem to fade slowly. I can see them building some really nice contrast fading. I considered the rise given SDA's cuts, and went with size 31. While a 30 would have also fit in the waist, the top block would have definitely been a little small for me.

I very much appreciate you asking and the trust you put in me - thank you very much
  20. I think it’s one of the best denims out there, very smooth and built to last, it would be great for a competition. I really enjoyed my pair although I wish the SD-101s had a slightly higher rise (back and front).
  21. WTS, prices don’t include shipping or fees. SOLD J87-WS, Medium, full pack (small tear on plastic bag). Worn but excellent condition. $900 P47A-DS, Medium, full pack. New. $500
  22. SD-101 for my first pair of SDA jeans. I've always loved the brand and love my shirts/tees/sweatshirts, but never had any of their denim. I love the way these fit and the denim is really nice.
