If you check the feedback of the Yahoo! seller above^.. it's appalling by honorable Japanese standards. Numerous 'very bad seller' reviews in regards to Muramasa jeans and lots of those Mickey x Rolexes which are 'coincidentally' sold at the Rakuten store.. also accusations of low listing prices / high buyouts and phoney bidding. It all seems dodge.. of the numerous different brands mentioned, most of them lead back to the same guy who seems to be generating hype with low listing prices and shill bidding... if one of his brands gets a bad rep, he'll just slap a different patch on there. #denimgrifter

Long time lurker first time poster. The Muramasa guy has also listed versions of 1943 jacket with fake Tenderloin patch (well I guess Levis and Sweet Orr inspired with the tug of war design?) https://zenmarket.jp/en/auction.aspx?itemCode=1159072045 This seems to be the dude https://www.instagram.com/muramasa_glove/?hl=en and https://www.instagram.com/muramasa_jeans_factory/?hl=en Rakuten store (no jeans for sale on there though, just Mickey Mouse logo'd fake Rolexes and box logo tees) https://item.rakuten.co.jp/royal-west/c/0000000121/ From his Facebook he does genuinely seem to be in Osaka https://www.facebook.com/yuya.shiozaki.5 and likes Triathlon a lot. I think Takuya Kimura comes into it because Kimura seems to wear a genuine obscure Japanese brand called SC Subculture https://sc-subculture.jp. Some of the Muramasa stuff is also sold with a Subculture patch and pictures of Kimura (eg. https://zenmarket.jp/en/auction.aspx?itemCode=n1159212942) SC Subculture's boss' instagram posting about Kimura https://www.instagram.com/p/C1vTqR9Pckn/?next=%2Fbluegodzi%2Ftagged%2F&locale=在线定制塔吉克斯坦TEF证书联系{威信%2BTG%2F飞机%3A%40buth2788}sjwNH%3F%3F%3F%3F%3F%3Fѧ%3F%3FƾSwQuO&img_index=1 not sure if Kimura actually talks about the brand on his YouTube or is just wearing Subculture in the video. I think the Kiwami items are intended to mimic Neatstyle as they have the same blank patch with just WWII and waist size. I find it kind of strange/funny cause you wouldn't think Neatstyle would be big enough to be worth bootlegging. What I do enjoy is that he seems to use a bunch of different red tabs (Tenderloin jacket has IRON'S red tab). Although it all seems a bit fishy to me, they do seem to sell for reasonable money eg. this used Muramasa jacket on 2nd Street (which also shows inner tag) https://en.2ndstreet.jp/goods/detail/goodsId/2340110413269/shopsId/31327 and some competitive bidding on Y! as mentioned above.

Because old FC were L34 and L36
-
yes most i have had for a very long while , i have some more Evis but i have to find them first. lots have been hidden for a long while as i put on lots of weigh and couldnt get into most of them anymore ..but due to weightloss i can enjoy them all again.
-
My older style Full Counts are all W31 L34, none have or had a 32L.
-
@Alec Leamas @reallypeacedoff Makes sense! Interesting to see the different results. @beautiful_FrEaK That was another reason why I wanted to try the 32! The factory hem has such beautiful roping already, I wanted to see if I can get by without hemming additional length, but alas, I think I would need to get them hemmed if I stick with the 32. Why aren't all union special hems created equal?
-
I’ve found MiJ LVC to be a little stubborn in getting full shrinkage, it’s taken at least 2-3 hot soaks compared to old cone pairs where I’d get it in one
-
@Alec Leamas different waist sizes come with different inseam length. W32 to W33 is the size where it changes.
-
I have a great Beams Plus one

I have been to BEARS, and that place is so packed with jeans that you can barely fit in there. There is no way they are doing any additional washing. As @Alec Leamas said, I would imagine you got a pair that was sitting on the heating element (mostly), and the other pair was probably protected by a few pairs in the dryer. When I was at Fullcount in Tokyo, I noticed that each patch was different too, didn't really think about it until then but I'd imagine that's why.
-
@space_cowboy just to add further intrigue, but also to possibly solve the mystery, those 2 pairs are different inseam lengths! (something I actually didn't know FC did!!)...so they likely will be from two different production runs. All FC jeans are one-wash processed now, or mostly anyway, so I imagine it's hard to control the outcome of that. Sticking a tonne of pairs of jeans into an industrial washer and washing and spinning them must produce a really wide variety of outcomes. I admit though that is a drastic difference! My 0105s came with a patch more like your top example there.
-
I've been wearing my 0105ss' (size 33 purchased from Bears) for the past couple of weeks and the waist has stretched out quite a lot. I was curious to see how a 32 would fit me and since Bears was sold out, I purchased a size 32 from Rodeo Bros. I figured I'd just sell whatever pair I didn't end up choosing. When I first got my 33's from Bears, I noticed the leather patch was hard as a rock, truly super stiff, and crinkly. I thought, hmm they must have a pretty aggressive factory wash. They were lots of hard creases throughout the fabric everywhere as well, like someone washed and tumble dried them on hot. Minus the patch, I figured any creases would come out with another wash, and not handling any FC denim before, I thought this was maybe the norm for jeans with their one wash treatment. I got the 32's from Rodeo Bros yesterday and I was a little surprised at the difference. The patch is very supple, no visible creases anywhere, and even the hand feel is slightly different, perhaps slightly more rigid. I'm not upset or anything, I just think it's interesting. Is it possible Bears did an additional wash to try and squeeze out any further shrinkage? Or perhaps it was returned by a customer who did their own wash, but then that means they would of had to attach the pocket flasher and tags? Curious to know if anyone else has experienced this.

Felco are a brand stocked by All Blues near me and their quarter zips (actually called half zips by the brand) look pretty good: https://allbluescostore.com/product/felco-half-zip-collar-sweat-12oz-french-terry-pigment-navy/ This faded blue one looks good, but there's a few different colours in stock. Having held them they seem pretty robust!

From mostly only wearing boots, I've turned into a bit of a sneakerhead now. Anyway, here is one of my favourite sneakers to wear during fall. New Balance 990v4 'olive incense' colourway with my Oni 546-ZR
-
Anyone have recommendations for quarter zip sweats? I've seen some from Timeworn that look nice, Warehouse and RMC usually offers some as well. This Boncoura one also looks nice, just looking for options I haven't yet considered.

Hi @paulm it’s great to see some of your old (new vintage?) repros here and on some other threads. Have you actually had some of these jeans since they came out in the 90s/00s or are they more recent acquisitions (or a bit of both)?

Seems Duke isn’t the only one offloading his FW collection. I see a bunch of stuff from Smallrod on eBay. luckily it’s all too small for me -
WTB: P46-DS XS Black

A few ppl over in the discord have bought it - it's nice, lightweight & boxy, fits very big, some guys are sizing down multiple sizes. The moleskin feels just about how you'd expect moleskin to feel and is thick enough to wear in colder temps but not so thick that it's moot in warmer temps either. Personally don't like the fit, it would be so cool if it fit straight. This whole new era of size-too-big jackets is lame, but I'm excited to see how they use the fabric on future silhouettes!
