Am coming to Tokyo in a week and then Kyoto a week after that.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for bars/clubs/parties?

That was probably the best place I went to. But check out flyers and local gig guides in boutiques and Tower Records...

From a lesson learnt (and many others would agree with me) transport is a bitch after 11:30pm so plan your night. Either get some accommodation near the venue or be prepared to stay up all night until the next morning!
