i just bought this earlier today, i tried looking on the site, didn't get the info i was looking for but just to confirm some questions...

1. How will these turn out different from say the line dry fulton's or other purely dry jeans?

2. Will this shrink at all in a wash?

of the 3 pairs there i tried to pick the least honeycombed, but from these pics they look pretty dry.

whats up becks

on the pocket lining there should be something that reads WET PROCESS, where it tells you what they did in terms of laundering and by whom. Its pretty obvious that they have been hand sanded, so I wouldnt be surprised if they have been washed as well. I have the filson dry...gave them a cold soak a while back and they did not shrink too much.

These are light and fade superfast. If you're not careful (like me :() they can rip easily. They will shrink back to their original size after you wash them, and MAYBE a tad in the length. I may have measured a quarter of an inch of loss in the length, but that may have been because of the honeycombs that developed.

These are my jeans after 5 weeks of wear and an unavoidable wash:

Edit: Fixed the first two pics, as they originally came out a bit too dark.

Don't soak them. Actually, if you can, I'd recommend picking up some Fulton XX's, they should be about the same price, maybe a bit cheaper. Fully dry, using Japanese denim. If you can't find any, I'd be willing to pick them up at an Earnest Cut and Sewn when I pick up mine next week.

wow grapest, 5 weeks? are those the line dry or or xx? ive worn my xx's japanese selvage for about 3 months with no wash and they def have begun to fade, but not like yours. ive just started working on a pair of 5ep 1 wash so im giving the ES's some rest. where did they rip btw?

becks, they are def washed and will shrink minimally. and yes, the xx's are around $200 but ive seen them online for much cheaper.

i found these for about $111 USD so i can't really ask for too much. Sometimes hit or miss not buying off ebay because sellers sometimes decide to ship courier as opposed to USPS.
