dubstep aint dead but its pretty much reached the limits in terms of what can be done with that musical template. Its also lost most of the aesthetic that made it appeal to the original heads. My 18 year old cousin has 'dubstep' as his middle name on his fb profile lol.

I've listened through a couple times, and I can now confidently say I'm mostly disappointed. Ironic that the leak to this album was posted in the "Beat Music" thread, as a good portion of this album is devoid of an actual steady drum beat. I've always thought flylo's best stuff was where he was able to combine his new take on the traditional boom bap hip hop rhythm with the spacy, rhythmically fluctuating shit into something really cohesive. This album fails to groove for the majority of it, and although there are some really great tracks on here, they sound more like L.A. b-sides than something for a new album. In almost every track there is a glimpse of greatness, but then it proceeds to just get fucked up by the end of the song.

Overall my main problem with this album is not that the music is bad or anything, it just doesn't live up to the expectations I had for someone as great as FlyLo. Hope he can come way harder on the next album.
