Fred segal basically carries everything they have online in store. You might want to see what they're selling before you go....save yourself a trip. They stock Naked and Famous, Jeanshop, and Simon Miller raws. I like the Simon Miller raws. Own two pairs myself. Nice 13.5 oz selvedge raw for the summer months.

Edit: If you're in the mood to go all the way to Pasadena, there's a shop called Rising Sun Imperial denim. It's one street south of Colorado (The main Old Town Pasadena strip) The denim is made IN STORE (their workshop is in the back. The people there will probably let you in the back to go look around. They like showing off their store) The denim is 100% made in USA. They use 17 oz selvedge denim for all of their products (they have a HUGE bolt of it in the back) Cotton is from USA, Denim is also woven in the USA. I have no fucking clue as to why the shop is called "RISING SUN IMPERIAL DENIM" Price for jeans is around $250-$350. Just giving you a heads up.

I don't think they use 17oz denim on all their jeans. I tried on the Blacksmiths and the denim felt like 12 maybe 13oz. The price for the jeans worth buying is about $500 (blacksmith/yukon).

yea..the prices kinda drove me away. The huge guy that works there showed me his big bolt of selvage denim cloth and told me it was 17 oz per yard. Still, makes sense that he has other fabric as well :/
