Can someone describe the process of pattern makin

Can please tell me the about the process of pattern making for jeans from the very beginning to the end. Like how does it start, what do you tell your pattern maker.

Thanks. But i was wondering if you wanted a pattern maker to draw you up pattern what do you necessarily tell them?

WEll, first it might be a good idea to decide what you want?

THen you find an example of a pair of jeans close to your desired cut.

THen you take it to a pattern maker and instruct how you'd like the cut modified. S/he will probably be able to modify it without taking apart the jeans, but many designers have indeed started out by dissecting classic designs to get a feel for how they fit together.

Have a look around here at people who've made their own jeans and you'll soon get the idea. To expect others to give a step by step guide without looking around this site first might seem a little selfish.

Perhaps you could do that searching, then perform a service by posting the link here. That way, this thread could be of benefit to others, too.
