I remember sizing down some crappy jeans from bobs to get a slim look before any of the other kids did (I was in like 7th grade) I just got made fun of If i only i knew to not wash and let them stretch.....

i think at the time of the picture the age of 7 was too young to care or get made fun of clothes so i could pull of skinny jeans haha. 97 was the time of baggy jeans and backstreet boys.

i remember in middle school when i refused to wear skinny jeans and my dad swore they'd be the thing in a couple years, looks like he was right

When i was a kid i wore old navy jeans and jeans from macy's that was on sale.

Junior high was right in the middle of the 'how wide can your hem get' wars - I think I tapped out at 26" (hem!) JNCOs. Going to 30+ inches was just too far.

I don't even remember how light or dark our JNCOs were back then - I'm thinking fairly dark? Acid/stone-washed was too '80s for all us rebellious 13-year olds in 1995.

I cut holes into my knees one time... I thought I was so cool looking... my mom got really mad.

Other than that I have vague memories of waking up and getting dressed for school. I definitely had a pair of jeans that were difficult to get my foot through the ankle. Had that tapered jank in elementary school.
