how do the crecys fit?

They run a bit big, maybe a full size big, according to some.

The pad on the heel is for poor and wears out very quickly but the quality of the leather is good.

I wear size 9.5 or 10 athletic shoes (Nike)... The boots do run half/full size bigger. I use to own Clarks Desert Boots and preferred the comfort of the Bed Stu Crecy... It had better sole cushion and support. The width of the boots just felt more comfortable too. I agree the leather is good.

I have only worn the boots twice,but everything seems to be holding up well. Hope this helps.
