So I want to buy a Coat, a winter coat that is.

I did a bit of window shopping today and came to the conclusion that for winter coats, nothiing comes close to wool when it comes to variety.

You see I want to look good without getting wet. Unfortunately the majority of proper raincoats are ugly. Wool/wool blend on the other hand come in many shapes and sizes and generally varying designs. A chap in Hugo Boss mentioned that wool coats may be treated with a 'special' spray that helps repel against water. Other customer advice included that I'd have to get a coat 'properly dryed' it if rained.

Right now I'm thinking whats the point of spending money on something that is bound to get spoiled by rain (i live in london and its more than likely to rain over the winter)

Surely there has to be a solution to this? (I'm assuming there is)

hmm u seem to be looking for a insulated rain coat? that i do not know of one... maybe u should look into wool peacoats, they can be very sturdy and warm and should be able to take some wetness... or maybe look into a parka?

I saw a beautiful wool peacoat by barbour but i don't want to spend the $500 then for it to be ruined/ spoilt by rain!
