sizing advice for apc

I promise I searched around before posting this. I'm pretty set on getting a pair of new standards, but I'm not sure what size to go with. My Regular Ralfs are 31x34, what size would everyone recommend I purchase?

29 would prob. work. read the 'apc denim' thread thoroughly. there have been similar questions in it. you may want to go with a 28 if you like your jeans super tight but a 29 should do.

yeah, my girlfriend got me size 28 apc's from denim bar ($120 shipped!). i wear 31's in straight sven's and the 28's are/were very tight/tapered. i like'm.

Crap. I wear 29 in nudies(slim jim) and I got 27 in NS. I needed a 28. I spent 10 mins buttoning up

You shouldn't be able to button up all the buttons the first day you get the jeans, if you can, then they're too big.

thank god. Is that normal? I could barely button the bottom 2.

Button as well as you can, walk around and sleep in them. after a day or two, the jeans will stretch and adjust and it will feel better.

that depends on the style of jean you are wearing. I prefer a looser jean so I buy them if they fit. I'm not interested in playing the tightest pants game.
