how to start making clothes?

Hi guys, I have a question. I recently tought about making my own clothes and i dont know where to start, i dont know how to sew or to draw clothes properly. I would like to know in what order and how i should learn to sew and design, what i should start with, etc. All help is appreciated

yeah i saw that topic and read that but im wondering if there any tutorials to total newbies like me which explain step by step. The search function only sent me to what are you wearing today topics. :S

on youtube there is a video just search "how to make ccp leather jacket" or "how to sew a rick owens knit", there is so many.

learn patternmaking

learn to sew and construct.

then do this all over again.

not really an overnight job - and as lame as it sounds just search on google or buy fashion design (etc) books
