raw denim shrinking question

I got the dior brute denim's in size 31, and they're already perfect to tight fitting.

my questions are: are these shrink to fit? and if they are how can i prevent them from shrinking at the waist when being washed? would soaking them in the bath while wearing them work to keep them from shrinking?

if you do that it will ensure that they stay big, they might stretch a bit.

if you let them dry they will shrink a little, prob. not more than an inch in the waist. the length will shrink a couple inches maybe, you can stretch it out when it's wet/damp.

wearing them when they are damp might not be a bad idea if you think they might get too small.

i just purchased the same jeans, dior brut 31's 21cm , and the fit is not what i thought it was, so im wanting to work on them to get it right, they fit perfect around the waist, but the leg is really weird and a bit baggy, so im wondering from what you've said that i should wash them let them dry a bit and put them on while still damp to make sure they stretch to fit? just looking for a beginners how to i suppose, thanks.
