The Smiths tee

Sorry i just re read your post. the link i sent you is for new shirts.

now if you want to vintage a new t.

email and ask if they can do either a single swipe or a half cure. t shirts are mostly printed with plastisol and these two methods make the print look old.

a single swipe means that there is less ink in the first place so when you wash the cotton comes through the print and looks old.

a half cure means that the ink isn't set properly so will deteriorate on washing.

to age the t shirt order too big and hot wash and then hot dryer, [use the drier until it smells like fire, but not until your house burns down]

if the t shirt is white you could dye it with low strength dye [mix to about quarter of what the instructions say] use black, or a yellow based brown [ if you want it to look real]

hope this helps

thanks, but sorry nothing at the mo.

been helping my girl with some prints but they are all in a shop so pics later.

i used to run a shop for a t shirt company/screenprinter, and always had people coming in at the last minute wanting a tee [for a gig or something] and not wanting it to look new. my boss was experimenting with the aged out prints and we used to send them home to use the hot wash/dryer.

the art was learning how much too big they had to be.
