How much did you run with it? I know that running with the internal hard drive ipods isn't good for them. Just curious as i have to see if i can fix my ipod first.

Not sure where you heard that, I worked at the Apple store and never heard of anything like that. I assume if you loosely throw it in your pockets and let it bounce around it's more likely to have issues, but I didn't.

I owned it for 3 months, I've used it for two. The last month it's been just hanging around the apartment. I ran about twice a week, biked some also with it, on the weekends. When biking it was in my backpack, when running/walking it was on my arm. Nothing too intense. I wouldn't worry about it being damaged internally.

I don't think transferring music works from iPod to computer, but who knows. Mostly some older folk, some indie stuff. There isn't much on it to be honest. I didn't really need a 80gb space.
