WAD magazine #37 summer 08, The Denim Issue

Just a heads up that the current issue of the French street/fashion/lifestyle magazine WAD is tittled "The Denim Issue".

There's nothing in it most of us on here don't know yet, and it mainly focusses on "fashion denim"/tacky european brands, but managing to miss going into the ones of those that are somewhat interesting...

I haven't read through all of it yet but it seems like a missed chance.

Figured I'd post it anyway.

I picked up one of their Denim Issues a few years ago, I remember it being exactly how you described, but I believe there were some interesting articles. Might have to try to dig it up...

I know the magazine shop down the street carries it, will have a look at lunch.

unfortunately most fashion mags make the mistake of featuring rubbish quality denim to head their "denim" issues.

Check out Evisu releasing the, "Kepu," a backpack that turns into a military-style cape. WTF??

I'd say that most of the denims listed here are pretty low quality, mass produced Diesel wannabe's, just jumping on the "designer denim" bandwagon, and modeled after all those "mall brands" that most of us detest.
