Are there any universities near los angeles and new york city that only look at your grade 12 marks + any additional requirements?

I've looked up a couple universities and all look at grades 9-11 gpa.

no. almost all US schools look at some combination incl. grades 10 and 11. only other option is to go to a local community college for two years and transfer which is super common and not bad at all.

yeah it doesn't make sense for a school to wait late enough to make a decisions on only grade 12 scores.

but like jonathan said, community college is an option. most schools like to be able to see a window of what you've done in the last three years.

there options other than commuunity colleges. i know when i was applying there was a certain two year school that boasted of sending ppl to top ivies and stanford. and i dont know any schools that look only at 12th grade gpa only. just apply to schools within your range and some above it. unless you really want some specialized major i promise you college in general is much better regardless of how high of a "standing" you think your college has. if you're a rising senior, you could also try and do something not ordinary. like some kind of community service project that you came up with, is successful, won lots of recognition, or some kind of internship where you got your name published in a scientific paper, or some kind of volunteer experience abroad. something that makes you stand out.
