Can someone ID HF`s old Redwings?

Don't think those are Red Wings. There seems to be a black lip around the top of the sole and the laces are darker; coupled with his fondness for Visvim footwear (seems to be pretty much exclusively what he wears), they are probably these 7 Holes:

They`re not. The magazine pages I posted in the OP were pre Visvim 7 hole.

It states in the magazine they are 5-6 year old Redwings also. Doesn`t say what model tho.

Not absolutely sure about this but the eyelets on HF's seem to be darker. Maybe a closer match would be the Clapton Classic Red Wings? Kinda hard to find now, but managed to find pics here.

oh man those are beautiful. Yeah I think thats pretty close. Clapton has his own Redwings?? Did a little reading and they came out in 2001 it says. Dope. Thanks for your knowledge.

No prob. Another thing, considering how they seem to run in the same circles, it might be even more likely.

Yeah, Fujiwara even did a clothing line semi named after Clapton, EC/Electric Cottage and a few Eric Clapton signature series jackets, some tees etc. Those guys have been close since way back.

But the mag scans are from around `99 or something and it says they`re 5-6 year old Redwings in the mag, so if Clapton`s Classics came out in 2001 it would mean the ones Fujiwara is wearing are just standard issue Irish Setters? Or at least older versions with dark eyelets?

Anyways the Clapton Classics in your link are so dope, just the right amount of extra detail to make them special without changing the overall look. Very nice.

Just to add that the Clapton series were made up of 3 boots, and were all taken from standing designs in the Red Wing library. They also made jackets, too. The were readily available on Ebay for a while. Should have scored a pair, but I love 875s as is. Good luck with the search.

Thanks. Yeah I`ve seen one of the others. Very nice.
