Outer-borough skate spots

I'd love to start this thread with some sort of contribution, but I just moved to Ridgewood last month and haven't had time to find any fun local spots.

Everybody knows Manhattan spots, but what about Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island? Help me out!

... also, if anyone wants to skate with a 20-something whose been skating for far too long to be as terrible as he is, let me know! None of my friends from Jersey want to come up to Queens to skate. Bummer.

Back on point, Brooklyn Banks is a good spot I've heard but I dont skate so who cares what i think.

Hah, yeah dude, I'm a QS follower, so I'm familiar with the more popular spots.

I noticed a greasy ledge (1 side knobbed marble, other side heavily waxed concrete) off of Myrtle Ave., but thats about it.

There have GOT to be more spots in the outer boroughs than the QS/Official/etc. spot listings. I mean, there might NOT be, but I sure don't want to be skating Manhattan by myself all the fucking time.

Edit: That ledge is somewhere near the L, maybe a few blocks out. I forget the cross street.

Also, theres a nice little park area with calf-high round rails within sight of the Myrtle L station. Haven't skated it yet, but there are usually some rollerblade dudes hanging out there, so its probably a low-bust factor.
