Nudie Slim Jim fit vs. APC New Standard fit

Was curious if there is a big difference between the two styles...

I wear a 31 in New Standards and was curious if a 33 in the Nudie slim Jim would fit similiar. Im not into booty hugging jeans so the new standards are prolly my cut off limit as far as how tight i would like my jeans to be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

Slim Jims are not tapered; NS's are. Slim Jims aren't skintight, but they're definitely made for guys with skinnier legs. They're zip-fly as well.

Again, not tapered leg, so pretty big difference.

The Straight Sven appeared to be about the same fit in the leg as the Regular Ralf so it looks a little bit less tight -- I should have my pair this week so I'll be able to tell you for sure soon enough.

i like my Slim Jims 100x better than my new standards...the fit is just waaay better. legs are slim but not skintight. slim jim has nearly no taper (8.5" at knee and 8" at hem) where NS has much more of a taper. at first the taper seemed minimal but now i can *see* is so much better, and it's fairly pronounced.

the taper on the NS is very slight, its not that bad, Slim jims arent selvage im pretty sure, but they are still very nice jeans.

I have both, and I wear a 27 in NS and 28 in the nudie SJ. both were pretty tight on the waist when I first got them, but have stretched a bit. I prefer the NS because 1) they're selvage, 2) theyre button fly (nudie's zip fly doesn't zip all the way, even though they're not too tight on me), and 3) I prefer the slight taper. the SJ's are definitely nice, and the fit is a standard straight leg, if you're into that.

I have both & love both. The Nudies are definitely slimmer through the leg. Wearing 30 in SJ and 29 in NS. They both fit really well, although they are different cuts, the NS being a little roomier.

jhud, you should get that zipper replaced. Mine goes all the way up, I think you got a bad one.
