prps

I think that prps is doing some of the best finishing in the biz right now, and it's my job to research denim finishing. They are pretty much the only ones doing black FINISHED denim good right now (and it's VERY hard to finish black denim and have it turnout looking good). Plus they are dong some GREAT non-denim finishing.

BTW, they don't do rigid, but they do a one-wash rinse product.

i've been wearing the same pair of prps for about 2 months ( the basic 5 pocket purple selvedge jam ) ... and pretty much just get that pair every time they put it out ... well i'm on my third pair of their basic jean ... ( the first actually has akademik rivets on the inside ) ... i love it's fit and look ... and i live in them.

it's odd ... i shy away from their more destroyed pairs ... even though i've purchased two of them ... (one being the washed selvedge pair and the other being the one with the button closures at the top and a few holes in them ... eh don't know the name of that sort of thing ) ... i very rarely ever wear them ...

the tees are killer ... i picked up a few and while i do think they fit big ... ( my two mediums are sorta on the wide side ) ... the material is hot ... picked up a hoodie too ...

good stuff.

waiting on a newer piece to catch my eye ... and that dry model sounds hot.

I also have the purple one wash selvage. Beatiful jeans. So much attention to detail, eventhough nobody will notice it. ( camo liner, black rivets, copper, brass and purple colored buttons, and stitch details) They are my favorite pair of jeans at the moment, I copped them for 225 at goods in seattle. Great fitting if you prefer something a little more relaxed.

Uh, Yeah, they ARE Akademiks, everyone knows this already.....

Who said they were trying to come out hard?

There's LOTS of higher-end stuff at Loehman's, that's why it exists: Maharishi, Neil Barrett, Barney's, etc...they don't just buy from clothing companies alone, they also buy backstocks from department stores.

You wanna see overdone, try True Religion, A&F, Hollister, Edun, the list goes on.
