6', 170lbs. The strap is just an extra detail that allows you to close the jacket more tightly at the neck. If you look at the picture of the jacket on the hanger you can see how it looks closed.

shit that duffle coat is nice... looks like it'd keep me nice and warm in the frigid north... but it'll only be cold for another month... then i'll need to buy fresh summer gear... agh. choices.
