Well, PS and WG are going to fit waaay different. WG's are going to be a lot looser. They only make certain WG's in size 27 and it'll be hard to find. Tateandyoko said the 27's still have a 11" thigh at least for regular indigo's and off of that I would assume they would still fit similar to my 29's which you can see a few pages back. But someone was selling 27 deep indigo's and he said the thigh was 9.5..don't remember where he said he measured tho.

N&F could have used thicker yarn for the Elephants. Two pairs I had have had strings loose and the stitch totally undone. I still have to resew my back pocket since it's missing half of the inner stitch. Since it's the pocket where I keep my wallet I'm going to double up on the yarn and do at least two passes.

I was thinking of getting a pair of weird guy elephant 2s, but can only order online and was wondering about waist sizing. My Edwin ED-47s are a size 30 waist but big enough that they make my ass look awful, whereas my Levi's 501s size 31 waist fit just about right. I could easily wear a 30 in the Levi's. Can anybody recommend a size?

picked up a sz 32/33 ele2. my true waist is around 32 but I've got bigger quads.

the sz 32 is skin tight on my quads but fits on the waist while the 33's are semi tight on quads but have a bit of leeway in them and also the waist. Leaning towards the 33 for a more comfortable fit. also strong hole size on the buttons..dafukman

nomalas- washing might help. I haven't washed mine yet but I have soaked and it did the same thing. It's not that big of a problem and I would assume all raw denim gets like that.

I'm really not feeling those new Franks..I wish it was an indigo color instead of that brown. Even if that color grew on me I'm not sure I could even pull it off. It really sucks because I really like the character of the denim.

Also those scratch n sniff denim looks nice. I would get it for the color rather than the novelty.

TATEandYOKO, could you post up some different pictures...more real life I guess you can say. Trying to get a better idea of the true color.

well im saying 'forced' because if you really want the huge contrasts and fades to stand out to win, wouldnt you need to wash them by the end of the contest?

i actually dont mind the colour since the 2 shades seem to blend in much nicer than it did when it was indigo. seems like a colour you can wear throughout spring/fall

Not a problem although the colours on the product page are pretty accurate, more so than the following image. Two shades darker than the deep indigo, with the slightest hint of red.

Anyone know a site where i could buy a pair of n&f black raws that fade red or blue?

Naked and Famous only has the Red Weft which is an Indigo Jean and the new Red Cores which is also indigo I dont think you're gonna find what your looking for O.o
