Foam_Lab, a group of upcoming talents working in the cultural sector, will celebrate the start of the Amsterdam International Fashion Week this Friday with its first ever event: Foam_Lab: In Fashion?

Bring your worst fashion purchases for the biggest swap meet ever in Amsterdam. Artists Emmeline de Mooij and Melanie Bonajo (Capricious Magazine) will host this evening filled with music, entertainment and trade. After obtaining your new outfit, pose for the cameras of photographer duo Fahdsemuel. Creative studio Hanazuki will be present to customize your newly obtained attire.

Exhibition

New Faces by Joost Vandebrug. Vandebrug compiled the New Faces series especially for this presentation at Foam. It features photos of five boys age 13 to 17 from different countries in Europe, who have all recently been scouted by top modelling agencies. Vandebrug shows each of them in their native city. This enables him to emphasize the characters of the youngsters set against their own surroundings.

Documentaries

De Lichthof, the area next to Foam Cafe, will be transformed into a cinema, showing well known fashion documentaries all night.
