i would kop...it's only got an 80 gig HD, and the 2 gigaherz only has a 64 gig...however, the 64 gig is a flash based HD, which means it'll start unbelievably quickly. I'm gonna wait until they make the HD bigger and lower the price...it's still a pretty sick computer tho

based on pricing, screen size, processor speed and no internal cd/dvd drive - I will stick with my MBP

The price goes from 1799 to 3098 for that solid state drive. Encased entirely? Meaning no swappable battery or ram.

The multi-touch trackpad is pretty nice.

As well as the ability to access a disc from another machine and install that software via Remote Disc.

yeah, ive been waiting for this for awhile, I was also really excited to finally see it released today, but after thinking about it, i realized that its just too pricey for basically a glorified macbook. i have to agree with what everyone else has said... its thin and thats just about it. the specs are almost exactly identical to what I have on my dell, and i paid almost half as much over 2 years ago. I was hoping they would put a dedicated graphics card on this new one. i think i'd rather shell out a little more for a MBP

1.8" 4200rpm hard drive... good for an ipod but not a laptop
