I find BlackBook really boring. It looks good and has some good articles every now and then (and had Hilary Swank on the cover, love), but that's it. There are some really bad magazines in Finland. Think GQ for women with tips how to survive cancer while having to deal with your adopted teenage kid who built a bong of your best pan by Jamie Oliver, then crashed your family size Renault while drinking home made booze. And like said, add GQ. Most of these magazines try to be really hip and trendy.

its all relative. some people are into woodworking as much as you are into clothes.

the boring magazines are pretty much any of the ones that rely on celebrity gossip, other than that as long as it applies to some kind of worthwhile hobby or task you can probably learn something from it.

Agree with you in GQ - my flatmate used to buy it - it's a shocker ...

Other than that, most music mags are pretty dull these days, as they try and me all things to all people.

Transworld Skateboarding was always the dullest of the bunch ... is it still around?

I bought an issue of Autograph Collector Magazine once. In the back it had a list of all the adresses to write to requesting a celebrity's autograph. That was mildly interesting.
