FS: Thom Browne, Patrik Ervell, Eugenia Kim

Recommended Posts

Size 32, never worn (only tried on; they don't fit me, I need a size 30 and so these have just been sitting in my closet waiting to be sold) Patrik Ervell midnight blue denim pants (not exactly 'jeans') with contrasting satin pockets.

Measurements (approx.):

Waist: 31 inches

Inseam: 31 inches

Thigh: 10 inches across

Hem: 7 inches across

I'm not certain of the season (although I'm fairly confident it was S/S 2007) or the fabric content as Patrik does not do the best job of labeling his shirts and pants (outerwear and knitwear is pretty well-labeled).

Eugenia Kim Men's hunter-style hat from F/W 2007

Bought for over $300 at Barneys for last winter and never wore it.

This hat is beautiful and the quality is impeccable. It's grey with very light pinstripes in 100% cashmere with leather straps, real rabbit fur and what her website described (I believe the men's line is now defunct, as I can't find this on there anymore) as 'vintage reindeer brass buckes' but I'm not sure what that means. Can be worn unbuckled for a sort of Elmer Fudd look, but also for warmth as the fur is extremely soft and warm.

Thom Browne Double-Breasted Navy Kid Mohair Gold-Button Blazer in size 0:

This one really speaks for itself. Beautiful, perfectly-tailored, incredibly detailed jacket from S/S 2007 (the season Thom collaborated with the brilliant Anthony Goicolea on The Septemberists -- one of my all-time favorites) in a cut that is quite rare for Thom. Multi-season navy kid mohair (think a really thin and soft merino wool with a slightly rough, linen-like surface), gold anchor buttons and arms lined in white/blue silk seersucker just scream Cape Cod and the white swiss-dot lining is something that needs to be seen and felt in person. Trouble is, it really does not fit my style at all. I really loved it when I bought it but I quickly found myself staring at it in my closet instead of wearing it, so instead it has been sitting my closet.

Measurements (approximate -- labeled as a size 0):

Armpit to armpit: 17"

Shoulder to shoulder: 16"

Length: 30"

Sleeves (from shoulder to cuff): 23"

i also have these shades, worn maybe three times ever, always indoors:

dior-hom_ss2006_various_001.jpg

i bought them when they first came out in Paris at the Solaris boutique on the first floor of the Galeries Lafayette; they were sold out literally everywhere i had looked in Paris and not yet available in New York (months before i left for paris i'd been calling the new york store at least once a week to see if they had come in). i checked first at the Dior boutique upstairs, but they didn't have them so i bought one of the half-union-jack polos instead. on my way out i figured i'd check Solaris just for the hell of it, and as it turns out i got the last pair they had (on display, no less) and i remember being overwhelmingly excited. obviously, the excitement wore off rather quickly as i only wore them once to a party in paris, and twice to parties in new york. until now they've been sitting, untouched, in their case in my desk alongside other unworn shades. i don't know if this will matter to people, but they are in a Dior case made for the oversized womens' aviators, as Solaris for some reason had no Black Tie cases left and they wouldn't fit in the regular Dior Homme cases (because of the extended metal arms), and i didn't care so i took them in said case; if this is a cause of problem i apologize, but i have no Black Tie cases to offer you.

if anyone is interested, i will post pics when i get my camera back next monday.

i paid $275 euros for these (then about $325; now an absolutely absurd $425), but i'll let them go for a fair $180.00 shipped. if this is too steep for you, make an offer and i'll consider it wholeheartedly.

on second look, it appears the jacket you are referring to has an extra row of buttons this one does not. so, even if it were Thom Browne, it is a different jacket.

BUT, i just looked up 'Rolling Stones' on gettyimages and it seems that their wardrobe people have been buying Ronnie a lot of TB. shame he looks so awkward in it...
