^ i don't have any concrete recommendations but somewhere closer to the city could be good. or just over the other side (carlton/fitzroy/etc.).

about to proxy some shit from jp - anything else worthwhile copping from uniqlo other than the t000s?

saw those while I was there, they looked super sheer to me so didn't try them on. don't buy the 3 packs of inner tees, they go to shit the moment they touch water. besides the T-000's (and socks :o) I'd recommend:

heat tech s/s tees

slim slacks

slim fit shirts

the slim fit shirts seriously fit me perfectly, the body and shoulders are cut slimmer with a longer sleeve length and shorter body length so they look good tucked and untucked. I have 10 (4 white, 4 blue and 2 black) of them...

Well i got shot in the balls once and it wasnt pretty

It really depends on who you play with/against on the day.. if you have a mad group you'll have the best time.

First time I went we had to play against a bunch of lads... gg

yeah, i had like almost 20 ppl in the field, quite chaotic. it was constant shooting and rushing... always find myself totally breathless after every match..

Played at the Oakleigh one as well before, pretty intense. Getting hit in the ribs is the worst.

My comment to people who haven't done it is: it hurts a lot more than you'd think.

That last line deserves to be taken out of context.

i thought i dodged well.. din't know i got hit so much.. went home and check the mirror... i was like LOLWTF.. but i don't feel them unless i press them.

one of my friend got hit on the neck, can't imagine the pain.... : x

Outdoor ones in Aus summer and the whole getup will be pure hell I'm sure!

It's awesome fun if people don't play too tactically (ie campers) and do all sorts of crazy Max Payne/Matrix shit. I think I was the only one the last time but was still pretty good.

yeah, can't wait for the real summer to come.. definitely more paintball and go-karting..

yeah I saw the tencel tees as well as the extra fine cotton ones Mel, the extra fine tees had a nice hand but looked too sheer to wear without layering them. the people beasting over the +J shirts should have just picked up the stretch slim fit shirts, they fit better than the +J shirts I tried.

can anyone recommend a good cobbler? Need some _7 boots fixed up, new soles on some VA's and some sole work on RO trainers. If someone knows a place they trust with their boots and can do RO's, that would be a big help. thx!

There's another cobbler/leather specialists at Royal Arcade downstairs that many ex-Evans customers have defected to and say they're better and cheaper. Evans hasn't let me down yet though, dude's a leather wizard and I was happy to pay the price for what he can do (remove cigarette burn from suede bag HOW?!!?) but just something to consider if he's trying to hustle some crazy prices.

finally finished with uni for the semester, just hope I passed everything so I can graduate without any hitches at the end of the year.

jb hifi is dangerous for my wallet, hadn't been there for a while and ended up walking out with 10 blu-ray movies. :o

EM is officially dangerous to my wallet. went today and layby a full inter-season suit in a fabric called niltch. One of a kind. Too much damage for this month already.. haha. :o

I had a looooooooong chat with Stephen, I was actually surprised that he saw the pics of my ccp knits in sz, someone actually emailed him and told him about it..!

was too excited to hear their next ccps.. so i tried to dig as many info about his next ccp shipment...

They are gonna get an overlock jacket, in red! Only one made in the world.. but size 50, for the big guys... paging jbone and 50... who was another 50 here? :P

There's more items coming in red as well.

Also a ccp leather fencing... in size 44... however..

Looks like they have no plans stocking Augusta, Guidi, Issey for now...but definitely picking m.a+ next year.

I am in love with a volga volga hooked detachable collar shirt in medium... was a little too big.. was told that Orlando Bloom kopped their size small... and he wanted an avantindietro boots but his size was sold out... : \

My current PS3 is a 60GB version. The only reason I'm changing is because of the 250GB hard drive for PlayTV, and there is no way in hell I'd still play PS2 games haha. As far as 'slim' goes, they seem to have increased the foot print to make it slightly slimmer. It's not small by any stretch.

my ps3 is one of the original 60gb models that's backwards compatible with ps2 games, I prefer the design of the old model to the plasticy slimline one anyway.

Now all I need to do is sell my old PS3 and cop playTV on thursday.

yeah, a wise move for him to pick m.a+..

I did told him there was something I agree with him.. when he said these..

"We have this real trouble with seasons and this constant requirement to order anew every six months – why the fuck should we? We are trying to train our suppliers to slow it down and concentrate on timelessness, but still too many of them are caught up in this cyclical regurgitation by necessity – not that of the consumer but the factory; we understand their cyclical need but it’s actually fucking bullshit when it doesn’t produce top shelf ideas."

I feel that EM as a small shop, they can't afford to stock so much labels.. but.. they can focus and buy more interesting stuff of these more particular labels that even 2-3 years, still have some sort of value and demand. Thus why I love ccps, carpe diems, volga volga, etc..

Fen, when are you going to start showing us fit pics of all these incredible clothes?

one day.... haha

yeah.. from last shipment.. not the selvedge suit!. I got the one in size 44, and the pants in 46, I haven't inspect carefully if the suits are taped, inviseam or whatsoever.. but fits me slim fitted spot on and after a few persuasion and I am on. haha...

and still stoked with the derbies.. every time i see the shoe tag.. "1".. I am sooooooo lucky to got those derbies in number 1.. out of 11..
