Yo where's best and most reasonably priced for staying in London? Somewhere cool, but won't bankrupt me.

Also, going to Paris, so any recommendations for there would be great too.

i was just in london a few weeks ago and stayed at the my hotel bloomsbury:

it was nice . . . boutique hotel. but if you're from the states everything in london's going to break the bank.

also went to paris and stayed in the 5th eme. excellent location and walking distance to boutiques, etc. i stayed here:

it was clean but needed a renovation but wasn't bad considering location, etc.
