The leather is very soft, thick, and a deep waxy brown color.

The wallet's pretty thick, but not uncomfortable at all because the leather isn't stiff,

but very soft. I'd measure your back pocket because it's on the larger side.

Thanks! It took me a couple of evenings, maybe 4 hours? I wasn't keeping track. I had some spare leather that wasn't getting any use so it didn't really cost me anything.
