APC vs. Nudie

Which brand do you prefer better if you like both?

Are they different types of denim for you that it's not comparable?

as for personal taste, because it's clean and minimalist, which is my style.

I think they're two different 'takes' on the same thing, the modern-cut dry denim.

Simple. Quality. No overt branding. Great Fit.

But just bought Nudie RR Selvage. Can't wait to get it.

I will comment as soon as I get my APC's later this week. I just received my nudie RR selvege yesterday and I think they're spectacular, but i definitely like APC's minimal aesthetic.

I like APC because it's nice and cheap but I kinda like Nudie more because the RR fits much better than the New Standards and also look a lot better IMO.

I chose Nudie.

I debated between the two for quite awhile before making a purchase. Though I do like the simplicity and value offered by APC, in the end I preferred the 'sexier' look of the Nudies.. I will probably end up getting a pair of APC a little ways down the road though.

APC has more of a formal look to it, whereas Nudie embodies a younger, more 'rock-n-roll' aesthetic.

I do agree about the back pocket stitching though, I would prefer if it weren't as loud, but I think removing it completely is a little anal.

Nudie for me. I prefer the Regular Ralf's fit to the Rescue's fit.

Well, i Have a Pair of both NS and RRDS, I see them as equal, RR has that bootcut, american ass kicking look to it, and the NS, has a much more formal look to it, but they both look great

I guess I'll wear my APCs in more semi-formal occassions and wear the RRs in more relaxed situations.

i have both, and prefer nudie's denim quality and weight.

i'm guessing that price may play in many of your decisions, but since i got my dry RR's on sale and for less than what I paid for the APC's, its not a factor in my decision. just wish i picked up another pair of the RR's when i had the chance...

music for the masses, you are from hk right? i'm going there next month and will be on the hunt for some samurai, denime, or sugar cane jeans. can you point which shops carry these brands and where?
