Distress on hem

I had my jeans hemmed and I want to know what would be the fastest way to create natural distress on the hem of my jeans. I had my other pairs of my jeans hemmed with the old bottom re-attached. But I felt that it was annoying and my bottoms felt too heavy. I wanted to try and get them the regular way.

let the bottom of your legs "accidentaly" rub into thing's, such as concrete, walls, stairs, etc...

Wouldn't that just fray them up and not distress them?

no. what are your jeans? if they're good quality it will barely distress them, no frays. get a pumice stone and rub the hem, it definately won't fray them, unless you do it way too much.

if you have sandpaper handy you can try that to distress the hem as well. just be gentle
