Here's a couple of pictures of mine. Too cold outside so the one outside picture is terrible. I kind of wish I had gone one size smaller, after I hot soak these they fit perfectly but stretch back out within a day or two :hs:. Anyways, initial 2 hour hot soak and hot dry, then an hour hot soak and hot dry @ 2 months and another hour hot soak and hot dry yesterday. It'll be 3 months on Feb 13.

Haha, no idea why they're turning out so nicely. Just a student, and I walk around, take the subway, etc. Normal NYC things.

And I just keep my cell phone in my coat pocket, though, that might be a problem come summer.

i dont think theres really a big difference between a phone fade in the front or the wallet fade in the back.

to think people would lose votes cause they keep their phone in their front pocket seems a bit rediculous... shouldn't it be about everyones personal style, which includes where they keep their phone

personally i like a phone fade... to a limit... if its causing the denim to rip open and is very noticeable then it becomes a bit of an eyesore.

it also tends to screw up the whiskers on the side your phones in.

but... to each is their own

The difference is that a phone fade would break up the whiskering, while theres no real whiskering effect (i should hope) in the back, which is why, for aesthetic value, it's best IMO to keep your phone elsewhere.

I used to carry mine in my front pocket but that was with my first pair of Nudie RRDS and they looked like crap. It wasn't the quality of the denim, but where I put my phone. I carry mine in my back pocket now but soon I'm going to make a canvas pouch to carry that and other things in.

I'm going to model it after the one that Cotton Duck wears, if he doesn't mind me biting his style a bit.

I have a bigger pair (33W), so I can keep my phone in my coin/watch pocket. But if I had gotten a smaller pair, they would not fit and thus I would need to keep them in my messenger bag that I almost always carry.

Exactly. I'm not gonna move my phone for the sake of fashion. I keep my phone in the front and I'm fine with it. Much better than sitting on it. I'm from SoCal so there's no way I'm wearing a coat once spring comes, and I tried the pouch thing when I used to carry my camera around. It just wasn't comfortable.

Anyways, here are mine at about 3 months. I had the suspender buttons added, courtesy of Bill at Stronghold. Nice touch.

Probably won't be washing these guys for another 2 or 3 months.

Hey miz, just picked up some packers from Bill at Stronghold. I'll post some pics tonight. They are pretty different from everything you got right now. You can also redo the sole to your engineers while you're at it.
